Description

Let’s take in the beauty of God’s creation as we trek cross Washington State’s beautiful Olympic Peninsula!

Our pilgrims will start in Seattle at Saint Mark’s Cathedral for a blessing and then head west, hiking daily in the mornings; enjoying field-trips, kayaking, swimming, beach & river restoration projects, and games in the afternoons. We'll rest at “waystations” each night, finally reaching the shores of the Pacific Ocean in La Push, culminating with a bonfire and memorable closing service.

We are fortunate to have a special guest joining us for the week: former Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, the Rt. Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori, who also happends to have her doctorate in oceanography. +Katharine will be our spiritual guide along the way, helping us see and appreciate God in the spectacular natural beauty of the peninsula.

The pilgrimage is open to all high school students -- those who just completed grades 9 - 12. Go to: www.ecww.org/youth/summer for more details!

Important dates:

  • July 15 - Final payment due - $420 (if you are pre-registered); $480 (if you're not pre-registered)
